Color Properties

Коррелированная цветовая температура (CCT)

Характеристика цветового вида излучаемого источником света, измеряемая в кельвинах и соответствующая температуре идеального абсолютно чёрного тела.

CCT quantifies the warmth or coolness of a light source on a scale from warm (low Kelvin) to cool (high Kelvin). Common reference points include candlelight at approximately 1800K, incandescent bulbs at 2700K, daylight at 5500K, and overcast sky at 6500K. In photography and videography, matching or adjusting color temperature is fundamental to achieving accurate or intentional color rendition. Display calibration also relies on CCT, with D65 (6500K) being the standard white point for sRGB. Understanding CCT is essential for lighting design, photography white balance, and display calibration.
