Yellow 3 (#CDCD00) is a medium, warm golden-yellow from the X11 Yellow series, where the brightness of pure yellow has resolved into a more substantial, golden tone reminiscent of antique gold leaf and rich sunflower colour. The depth makes it far more usable for large colour areas and design applications than the pure variants. Used in autumn design, golden accents, and contexts requiring a vivid but mature yellow with classical warmth.
