Yellow

Yellow (#FCE883) is the Crayola crayon yellow, a soft, warm golden-lemon tone that prints well on paper and reads as a cheerful, approachable yellow without the harsh intensity of pure #FFFF00. One of the original eight Crayola colours since 1903, it is the archetypal children's yellow — the shade used for drawing suns, bananas, and school buses across generations. The warmth and softness make it more versatile and user-friendly than maximum-intensity screen yellow.

Pale yellows and creams evoke sunlight, freshness, and intellectual clarity. They are the lightest chromatic colors the eye perceives, creating a sense of spaciousness and openness. Light yellow is often associated with new beginnings and gentle happiness.
