Adobe RGB

Un espacio de color RGB de gama amplia desarrollado por Adobe Systems, ampliamente utilizado en fotografía profesional y flujos de trabajo de impresión.

Adobe RGB (1998) was designed to encompass most of the colors achievable in CMYK printing while working within an RGB framework. Its gamut is about 50% larger than sRGB, particularly in the cyan-green range. This makes it the preferred working space for photographers who shoot for print, as it preserves more color information during editing. However, Adobe RGB images must be converted to sRGB for web display, or they will appear desaturated on non-color-managed systems. Professional monitors capable of displaying Adobe RGB are standard in photography and prepress environments.
