Adobe RGB

Um espaço de cores RGB de gamut amplo desenvolvido pela Adobe Systems, amplamente utilizado em fotografia profissional e fluxos de trabalho de impressão.

Adobe RGB (1998) was designed to encompass most of the colors achievable in CMYK printing while working within an RGB framework. Its gamut is about 50% larger than sRGB, particularly in the cyan-green range. This makes it the preferred working space for photographers who shoot for print, as it preserves more color information during editing. However, Adobe RGB images must be converted to sRGB for web display, or they will appear desaturated on non-color-managed systems. Professional monitors capable of displaying Adobe RGB are standard in photography and prepress environments.
